190th. 37-year-old female, LSI, resident of NHA, Brgy. Kauswagan
- from Lapu-Lapu, Cebu
- a missionary
- arrived in CDO on August 5 via sea travel
- swabbed on August 10
- results came back positive on August 11
- 2 family members also tested positive but retagged
- no symptoms, no comorbidity
- placed in a city isolation unit
- transferred to temporary treatment and monitoring facility (TTMF)
191st. 39-year-old female, LSI, resident of Brgy. Agusan
- from Mandaue, Cebu
- arrived in CDO on August 5 via sea travel
- swabbed on August 10
- results came back positive on August 11
- no symptoms, no comorbidity
- now in a TTMF
192nd. 73-year-old female, local case, resident of Upper Brgy. Carmen
- also has a home address in Bukidnon
- went to Bukidnon last March, returned here in CDO 2-4 weeks ago
- exhibited symptoms on August 9-10, fever and cough
- sought medical help at the JR Borja General Hospital on August 11 after experiencing difficulty in breathing
- swabbed early on August 11, results came back positive at around 1:00 pm
- patient died at around 12:00 pm of August 11
- final diagnosis: Acute respiratory failure (Type 1) secondary to community-acquired pneumonia
- comorbidities: chronic kidney disease secondary to hypertension and diabetes mellitus (metropathy)
- patient’s remains were cremated at around 2:00 pm
- close contacts identified
- focused containment implemented
