25 Apr 15-Year-Old From Zayas, Caught For Buying Iphone 6 with Fake Money: 1,000-Peso Bills

A Kagay-anon minor was recently caught by authorities after using fake money in order to buy an iPhone 6 from an online seller.
The suspect was identified as a 15-year-old resident of Zone 8, Zayas, Carmen, Cagayan de Oro City. (Name not released)
According to an article by Sunstar, the online shop owner, Mark Anthony Oclarit, revealed to the police that someone named Trixie messaged him saying that the suspect wanted to order an iPhone 6 Plus with the price of P14,500.
Mark only discovered that he received fake money after their transaction in Cagayan de Oro, while the suspect already left with the said iPhone. The suspect tried to flee but he was caught at Grand Central, located at Pabayo-Hayes Street.
The suspect then revealed that he was the one who first messaged the online seller, and admitted that he was just envious of others, that’s why he wanted to have an iPhone.
