17 Oct 167 Urban Poor Beneficiaries Graduates Receive Livelihood Starter Kits
In an article from Cagayan de Oro City Philippines Facebook Page, over 167 urban poor beneficiaries of the Cagayan de Oro City’s Technology-based Community Skills Training have graduated today, October 17.
The beneficiaries graduated from short-term courses in plumbing, housekeeping, beauty care services, and construction painting wherein they also received starter kits so that they can already put up their own livelihood based on the training they acquired from the program.
Those who are graduates of the plumbing program were given pipe ranges #14 and 18, measuring tapes while those of the housekeeping program received washing machines, floor mops, and glass cleaners. In addition, beauty care graduates received foot spa machines, manicure set, and hair dryers, while construction painting graduates accepted assorted paints, paint brushes, paint rulers, hard hats, and spray guns.
CdeO Councilor Ian Mark Nacaya attended the commencement exercises.
