  • a healthcare worker in a private hospital
  • exposed to CDO’s 314th case
  • swab results came back positive on September 7
  • now in an isolation facility
  • no symptoms
  • close family contacts now isolated
  • further contact tracing ongoing

387th. 60-year-old male, local case, resident of Brgy. Balulang

  • a vegetable vendor
  • had cough, fever, and vomiting on September 4
  • brought to a private hospital
  • swab test came back positive on September 6
  • now at the NMMC
  • 5 close contacts identified and isolated
  • further contact tracing ongoing

388th. 61-year-old, local case, resident of Brgy. Gusa

  • a known cancer patient
  • experienced symptoms on August 27
  • admitted to a private hospital on September 4 due to difficulty in breathing
  • swab test came back positive on September 6
  • the patient died also on September 6, at dawn
  • final diagnosis: acute respiratory failure secondary to severe community-acquired pneumonia, acute hypoxemic respiratory failure, congestive heart failure, and hypertensive cardiovascular disease
  • patient was buried within 12 hours of death
  • 3 family contacts now isolated, for swabbing
  • further contact tracing ongoing

389th. 25-year-old male, local/APOR, resident of gated subdivision in Upper Carmen

  • swab tested in Manila on August 1: positive
  • 2nd swab test on August 17: negative
  • stayed in Manila until August 30, returned to CDO via air travel to Laguindingan
  • opted for a home quarantine
  • 3rd swab test results came back positive on September 7
  • now in a TTMF

  • a company employee
  • had a fever on August 29
  • swabbed in a private facility on September 4
  • results came back positive on September 6
  • now in a TTMF
