07 Mar 18-Year-Old Male Arrested In Cagayan de Oro City For Raping 1-Year-Old Cousin

Mga higala! An 18-YEAR-OLD tri-sikad driver was arrested for RAPING his 1-year-old female cousin, in Barangay Pigsag-an, Cagayan de Oro City.
According to a report by ABS-CBN News, on Tuesday, March 5, the mother asked the suspect to look after the child because she needed to buy some medicine.
“When the mother returned home after an hour, she found her child crying and saw that her private parts were already bleeding,” said Patrolwoman Jennifer Husayan of Cagayan de Oro City Police (COCPO) Station 2’s Women and Children Protection Desk.
After his arrest, the suspect then admitted to the horrible crime and expressed that, “Hindi ko alam kung bakit ko iyon nagawa. Nakokonsenya ako. Wala ako sa wastong pag-iisip.” [I didn’t know what I was doing. I feel guilty. I was not in my right mind.]
COCPO is now waiting for the results of the 1-year-old’s medical examination.
