08 Nov LOOK: 19 Minors Caught Inside An Internet Cafe During School Hours
Mga higala! 19 MINORS were caught playing inside an INTERNET CAFE during school hours, in a joint operation conducted by the Regulatory and Complaint Board (RCB) of Cagayan de Oro, together with personnel from Barangay 12.
The operation was carried out on November 6, in a well-known internet cafe along Corrales Avenue.
The said operation was planned after RCB received a complaint from a concerned citizen. (see screenshot)

The said minors were caught playing famous online games.
They were brought to the barangay hall and were lectured by officials.
According to a post by the RCB, playing during school hours violates City Ordinance No. 13394-2018, otherwise known as the Cagayan de Oro City Comprehensive Children’s Welfare Code of 2018.
This ordinance states that “minors are not allowed to play computer or video games from 07:00 am to 03:00 pm during school days. And, internet café owners are prohibited from allowing children to access pornographic sites, nor be engaged in any pornographic activities through the internet.”
