From Bombo Radyo news article, Northern Mindanao Regional Athletics Association (NMRRA) received 2 gold medals in Palarong Pambansa 2017 at Antique.
Sylvian Faith Abunda from Lantapan, Bukidnon got the first medal on javelin throw.
According to Abunda, her determination in winning the game is the aspiration of getting the gold medal. Listening to her coach and her training helped her to win.
Besides from Abunda, Jee-An Labasano from Kitan-is, Lunokan, Manolo Fortich got the first gold medal after winning the 3,000 meter-run.
Recently, there were 6 medals achieved by the Northern Mindanao which 2 are gold medals.
