22 Jun 20 Police Officers from Northern Mindanao Removed from Service After Proven using Drugs

Among 41 police officers who went through a random drug test in PNP Region 10, 20 were found positive in using illegal drugs. The 20 police officers were then removed from service.
The said random drug test is in line with the PNP-10’s “oplan linis bahay” to eliminate the scalawags within their organization.
Aside of the removed police officers, other 12 are waiting for their cases’ decision with 5 of them under-investigation, one resigned, 2 retired from service, while one esaped from the case.
According to PNP-10 spokesperson Supt. Surkie Serenias, among the police officers positive with using drugs were a police major, police inspector and most of them were in positions P03 and P01.
