Reminders have been released all week by the Cagayan de Oro City Commission on Elections (COMELEC) office. This is due to the fact that only a few days remain until the end of registrations next Thursday, November 30.
According to Cagayan de Oro City Election Officer Atty. Ramil Acut, the kagay-anons should register as early as possible. During this time next week, their registration booths will surely be swamped with last-minute-registrants.
He even clarified in his announcement that there will no re-scheduling for late voters. It will last on November 30, and that day only.
COMELEC also wants to remind everyone that teenagers with the age of 15 by the month of May 2018 will be accepted for the Sagguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections. And that they will accommodate people who wish to claim their voter’s ID except those who registered for the year 2015.
Registrations are now currently held on booths inside Robinson’s Mall in Limketkai until next week.
