26 companies joined the two-day Diskwento Caravan-Balik Eskwela Edition of the Department of Trade and Industry-Misamis Oriental Provincial Office (DTI-MOR) and Local Government Unit (LGU) of Cagayan de Oro City kick-started on May 31 up to June 1 , 2017.
Different school supplies, basic goods and assorted-for-sale items at discounted rates were on display during the Diskwento Caravan held at the city hall of CdeO.
In an article from pia.gov.ph, the items sold in the Diskwento Caravan had discounts, freebies, give-away items, and buy-one-take one on grocery items and 10-50% discounts on dry goods and basic and prime commodities used in home, office and school.
Started in 2008, the Diskwento Caravan is an effort of DTI conducted in different regions across the country to provide high-quality goods at affordable and discounted prices to Filipino consumers.
