03 Jul 3 arrested for possessing illegal drugs and firearms at Brgy. Canitoan

In an article from Sunstar.com, 3 individuals were arrested by police authorities after 2 firearms and 2 sachets of “shabu” were found in their possession in a buy-bust operation at Barangay Canitoan, Cagayan de Oro City last Friday, June 30.
The three suspects were identified as Rechiller Salvaña (49 years old), Goldie Chiqui (35 years old), and Albert Cliff Enerio (44 years old), hailing from different Barangays in Cagayan de Oro City were not able to show legal documents for possessing a 45 caliber pistol and a shotgun found in their supposed hideout at Barangay Canitoan. There were also two sachets of “shabu” discovered inside the house leading to their arrest.
Senior Inspector Mario Mantala of Carmen Police Station 4 said that the suspects claimed there was a deed of sale for the confiscated firearms but were not able to show the necessary permits.
He also said that neighbors have tipped police authorities regarding the involvement of the suspects in illegal drug trade.
