15 Nov 3 Fake Army Reservists With Illegal Firearms Arrested @ Iligan Checkpoint
Mga higala! 3 FAKE ARMY RESERVISTS wearing camouflage uniforms while riding an ambulance were arrested in a checkpoint at Barangay Tubod, Iligan City, last Tuesday, November 13.
According to authorities, they received intel that the suspects were armed, and, upon arriving at the checkpoint, not a single doctor or nurse was accompanying them inside the ambulance (which was revealed to be owned by a security agency).
It was then discovered that were carrying various firearms, fake licenses and that they weren’t on the official list of reservists.
Moreover, in a statement by Senior Inspector James Daleon, he said that they found text messages on the suspects’ phones revealing that they sell firearms and that they are from Manila going to Marawi.
