3 Million Worth Of Smuggled Ukay-ukay From Korea & Thailand, Destroyed in Cagayan de Oro

Mga higala! The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has recently confiscated and destroyed containers of smuggled ukay-ukay in the port of Cagayan de Oro City worth P3 million. The ukay-ukay (used clothing) items were illegally imported from Korea and Thailand via misdeclaration, together with tons of refined sugar which also amounted to millions of pesos.

    I dont know why the government didn’t consider to distribute the smuggled ukay ukay to the poor instead of destroying them. They can do it by distributing secretly to the poor just like its Christmas
