Three were wounded when fire engulfed two houses along Makahambus-Burgos Street in Barangay 15, Cagayan de Oro City yesterday, July 2.
In an article from Sunstar.com, the fire was suspected to have originated at a boarding house of Maria Luz Tion and immediately spread to a second house owned by a certain Jaime Quisaba.
Injured individuals, Analyn Quintao and Mercedez Oclida, both sustained minor burns in certain parts of their body and were immediately sent to a nearby hospital.
A firefighter has also been injured after the responding Gaisano Fire Volunteer truck accidentally ran into the truck of the Chinese Fire Volunteer on their way to the place of the fire incident.
Senior Fire Officer 3 Samson Velarde from the Cagayan de Oro City Fire District 1 said that the fire may have caused by an unplugged charger or by faulty electrical wirings in Tion’s property.
