14 Nov 30 Tons Of Garbage From South Korea Smuggled & Dumped In Misamis Oriental

Mga higala! 30 TONS OF GARBAGE or waste materials from South Korea was smuggled through the Mindanao International Container Terminal, in Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.
According to the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), the waste materials were declared as “plastic synthetic plates”, but upon inspection, it was discovered that the shipment also contained wood, clothing, and biohazardous waste like old batteries and medical wastes.
Moreover, an additional 51 containers that also held garbage from South Korea was found at the said port.
