As Department of Labor and Employment conducted its annual job fair on May 1, it was recorded that 30,000 applicants had joined the event.
2,000 of these applicants were hired on the spot while 10,000 applicants are still on the waiting list with possible career opportunity if does well on the next interview.
In a report from Bombo Radyo CdeO, fresh graduates, senior citizens, persons with disabilities (PWD) and contractual employees joined the job fair.
