04 May 31 Health Workers Placed Under Quarantine After Exposure To COVID-19 Patient From Brgy. Lumbia: 8 Other Patients Moved
Mga higala! 31 health workers at the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) were placed under a 14-day quarantine due to their close-contact or exposure to the 21-year-old patient from Brgy. Lumbia, who recently tested positive for COVID-19!
8 patients at the NMMC’s surgical intensive care unit (ICU) were then transferred to the Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Disease (ERID) station so that they can be closely monitored and the ICU can be disinfected. The said coronavirus patient was brought in this facility after his surgery.
Moreover, an extensive contact-tracing is now being conducted by health personnel on the patient’s relatives, friends neighbors, and anyone that he may have had contact with.
