30 Jun 31-Year-Old OFW From Villanueva Tests Positive For COVID-19, 9th Case In Misamis Oriental
Mga higala! A 31-year-old male OFW from Villanueva, Misamis Oriental, has recently tested positive for COVID-19 and is now the 9th confirmed case in the province!
This OFW worked in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and returned to the Philippines on June 4, 2020. He arrived in Misamis Oriental on June 11 via air travel and was immediately placed in a barangay isolation unit.
He then tested positive via a rapid diagnostic test last June 23 and was swabbed on June 24. His RT-PCR test results came back positive.
He did not have any community exposure and is currently asymptomatic.
