23 Feb 4.6 Magnitude Quake hits Davao, injures 2 as waiting shed collapsed
An earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6 hit Davao City this morning, Feb 23, which injured two as waiting shed in front of Palma Gil Elementary School collapsed.
The movement of tectonic plates which occurred around 9:50 a.m., was felt also in Compostella Valley, Davao del Norte, Tagum, and Panabo.
According to an article in Inquirer.Net, Phivolcs said earthquakes of this magnitude and depth are not expected to cause damage.
However, two were injured while inside a waiting shed that collapsed during the quake. The two were immediately rush to the Southern Philippine Medical Center.
