04 Sep 4 Minors Caught Using Shabu Inside A Lodging House @ Brgy. Lapasan
Mga higala! 4 minors were recently caught by the police while using SHABU or methamphetamine, inside a lodging house, at Barangay Lapasan, Cagayan de Oro City!
According to a news report from One Mindanao, a concerned citizen informed the police about a shabu session in the said lodging house, which led them to conduct a raid.
The minors were then put under the custody of the Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD) of the city’s Police Station 2 and will be turned over to the City Social Welfare and Development (CSWD).
Together with said minors, a 19-year-old male named Alim Alvares was also caught and is now in jail.
The police are now studying if they will file a case against Alvares and the management of the lodging house.
Moreover, the CDO Regulatory and Complaint Board is now investigating the lodging house since a city ordinance clearly states that minors are not allowed inside this kind of establishments without a guardian.
