24 Jun 44-Year-Old From Brgy. Agusan Tests Positive For COVID-19, CDO Total Now @ 27
Mga higala! A 44-year-old female cashier from Brgy. Agusan has tested positive for COVID-19 and is now the 27th case in Cagayan de Oro City!
The said female was tested during their company’s rapid diagnostic tests last June 13 and her results came back positive on June 16. An RT-PCR confirmatory test was then conducted recently, which also turned out positive.
According to Dr. Joselito Retuya, she had close contact with agents from all over Mindanao while receiving remittances for their company.
She is currently in a city isolation unit and her direct contacts have already been extracted and quarantined.
Moreover, a block in the area of this patient’s residence in Brgy. Agusan will be under active surveillance and focused containment starting today, June 24, 2020.
