23 Jun 48 Companies Declare Permanent Closure In Region 10 Due To COVID-19
Mga higala! A total of 48 companies have declared permanent closure in Northern Mindanao (Region 10) due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic!
This has affected 813 workers in the region.
This information was revealed by Asst. Regional Director Leonila Cajarte of NEDA-10 in today’s press conference, June 23, 2020.
She also added that 15 establishments are currently under temporary closure which affected 424 additional workers.
Moreover, 103 firms were forced to reduce their workforce because of the pandemic and affected 1,409 employees.
