20 Dec 5.3 earthquake shakes Surigao Del Norte
A magnitude 5.3 earthquake shook Surigao City and several areas in Surigao del Norte and Visayas around 4am this morning.
According to Philvocs, the tremor and epicenter, which was tectonic in origin, was traced 14 kilometers northwest of Sta. Monica, town in Siargao Island.
The quake was also felt in Dinagat Islands, Southern Leyte, Cagayan de Oro City, Butuan, Cebu and Lapu Lapu.
