Out of these 5 cases, 2 are considered as local cases, another 2 are locally stranded individuals (LSIs), and 1 is a returning Overseas Filipino (ROF).

303rd. 28-year-old female, LSI, resident of Brgy. Bulua

  • from Manila
  • arrived in CDO on August 26 via air travel to Laguindingan
  • placed in a city isolation unit
  • swabbed on August 31, results came back positive on September 1
  • no symptoms, no comorbidities
  • contact tracing ongoing

304th. 34-year-old male, ROF, resident of Brgy. Canitoan

  • from Japan
  • swabbed on August 21 upon arrival at NAIA
  • stayed in a hotel while waiting for test results
  • results came back negative
  • arrived in CDO on August 25 via air travel to Laguindingan
  • catered in an OWWA accommodation area upon arrival
  • placed in a city isolation unit
  • swabbed again on August 29, results came back positive on August 31
  • contact tracing now being verified
  • for transfer to a temporary treatment and monitoring facility (TTMF)

305th. 22-year-old male, LSI, resident of Brgy. F.S. Catanico

  • from Cebu
  • arrived in CDO on August 26
  • placed in a city isolation unit
  • swabbed on August 31, results came back positive on September 1
  • no symptoms, no comorbidities
  • contact tracing ongoing

306th. 37-year-old female, local/APOR, from Brgy. Gusa

  • arrived in CDO on August 6, now renting in Gusa
  • went to work at a facility in Misamis Occidental on August 11
  • returned to CDO on August 14
  • experienced throat discomfort on August 17, colds and stuffy nose on August 19
  • had a fever and loss of sense of smell and taste
  • self-isolated until August 30, swabbed
  • results came back positive on August 31
  • no comorbidities
  • for transfer to TTMF
  • contact tracing ongoing

307th. 51-year-old female, local case, resident of a gated community in Brgy. Lumbia

  • admitted to a private hospital in CDO
  • experienced fever, headache, and loss of taste on August 26
  • swabbed on a private facility on August 31
  • results came back positive on September 1
  • has comorbidities
  • transferred to the NMMC
  • has a history of travel with her husband
