27 Jul 6-Year-Old Dies in MisOr House Fire While Parents Watch “Ang Probinsyano” @ A Neighbor’s House

Mga higala! A 6-year-old child named Jeff Myko Salvani died last Wednesday, July 25, after being trapped alone in their family’s burning house at Barangay Buko, Kinoguitan, Misamis Oriental.
According to reports, the fire started when a gas lamp broke and easily spread flames in their home, which was mostly made out of wood. Jeff Myko’s parents were at a neighbor’s house during the fire watching the “Ang Probinsyano” teleserye, while he was left with his older siblings inside their residence.
The authorities revealed that based on their investigation, Jeff Myko was asleep at the time, and, when the fire broke out, his siblings panicked and was not able to go back in order to save him.
