Mga higala! Netizens are now praising a 64-year-old midwife for her quick response that saved a minor who gave birth before arriving inside the nearest delivery room, in Brgy. Kauswagan, Cagayan de Oro City!
According to a report by One Mindanao, the said midwife, Ma. Nida Daytia, immediately acted upon noticing that the baby has already exited the mother’s womb, to avoid any complications.
She cut off the umbilical cord, separated the baby from its mother, and gave them proper medical care.
