15 Oct 78 Medical Frontliners Infected With COVID-19 In Cagayan de Oro
Mga higala! A total of 78 medical frontliners have been infected with COVID-19 in Cagayan de Oro City, as of October 13, 2020!
According to a post by Stephen Capillas, 51 of these are from the city’s main COVID-19 referral hospital- the Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC). The others are medical personnel from the Department of Health in Region 10 (DOH-10), JR Borja General Hospital (JRBGH), and from various private hospitals.
Some of these frontliners contracted the virus in the community while some were exposed to COVID-19 patients.
City Mayor Oscar Moreno said that these cases should help every Kagay-anon and visitor realize and appreciate all the risks faced by our medical frontliners in the fight against the coronavirus disease.
