[UPDATED] Mga higala! 8 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed today, June 30, 2020, in Cagayan de Oro City!
7 of these are returning OFWs and/or locally stranded individuals (LSIs), while the last one is a close contact of the 44-year-old patient from Brgy. Agusan.
There are now a total of 39 positive COVID-19 cases in the city.

- no symptoms
- had direct contact with said COVID-19 patient thru massage

33rd. 23-year-old LSI from Bonbon
- arrived from Lapu-lapu, Cebu
- placed in city isolation unit
- swabbed on June 26
- asymptomatic
- to be transferred to a temporary treatment and monitoring facility (TTMF)
34th. 32-year-old male from Brgy. Macabalan
- returning OFW
- arrived from Manila on June 20
- placed in an isolation unit
- swabbed on June 25, results confirmed June 29
- to be transferred to a TTMF
35th. 23-year-old male LSI from Brgy. Macabalan
- returned from Cebu
- arrived in CDO on June 21
- placed in a city isolation unit
- swabbed on June 25

36th. 37-year-old female LSI from Brgy. Macabalan
- arrived from Manila on June 20
- placed in a city isolation unit
- swabbed June 26, results turned out positive June 29

39th. 24-year-old female LSI from a gated community in Brgy. Bulua
- close contact of Iponan case
- arrived in CDO via ship on June 11
- placed in city isolation unit (1 day)
- transferred for home quarantine
- swabbed on June 25, came back positive
- now transferred back to a city isolation unit
- family members also quarantined, no focused containment
