20 Oct 8-Year Old Raped by Her Cousin Now Suffering from STD in Mindanao
Last October 17, 2016, Monday, a laborer was arrested and filed with rape charges after he was caught raping his 8-year old cousin in Barangay Carpenter Hill, Koronadal City in South Cotabato.
“Accordingly, nahawaan pa daw ng sexually transmitted disease (STD) yung bata. So, nakakaawa yung biktima kaya sinampa talaga namin agad ang kasong rape,” said Superintendent Barney Condes.
Based on the investigations, the victim’s parents saw the suspect inside the girl’s room.
Initially, the suspect denied that he raped his cousin and that he only touched the girl’s intimate parts admitting that he was drunk when it happened. However, a medico legal examination revealed that the victim was raped and is now suffering from a sexually transmitted disease (STD) she got from the suspect.
