27 Mar 832 CDO Policemen test negative for illegal drugs

In a news reported by Bombo Radyo Cagayan de Oro, the 832 police officers who underwent a surprise drug test conducted last March 18 were found negative for drug use, said Cagayan de Oro City Police spokesperson C/Insp Mardy Hortillosa.
This after PNP-10 Crime Laboratory finished the specimen examination last March 23.
Hortillosa said that City Police Director Sr/Supt. Roy Bahian is now convinced that their agents are not involved in illegal drugs. Further, he said that they will continue their internal cleansing to ensure that their police officers have a clean service reputation and free from drug suspicion.
Surprise drug test will still be conducted if they receive reports that their police officers have involvement to illegal drugs.
