Mga higala! The combined forces of Cagayan de Oro’s community development volunteers (CDV), barangay health workers (BHW), and the City Health Office’s Health Emergency Management Staff (CHO-HEMS) have detected 9 residents with influenza-like illnesses (ILI), in their recent house-to-house visits at Pinikitan, Brgy. Camaman-an!
This was revealed by City Epidemiologist Dr. Joselito Retuya, in yesterday’s press conference.
However, the said residents do not have any unusual symptoms, are now in isolation, and are being closely monitored by the concerned Barangay Health Emergency Response Team (BHERTs).
