09 Sep Disaster Agencies in MisOr-CdeO Heighten Alert VS Bad Weather

Provincial Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office (PDRRMO) Executive Officer Fernando Sotsot Dy Jr reminded residents to be alert regarding the bad weather Misamis Oriental will experience in the coming days.
Dy also said that residents living near rivers and landslide-prone areas should be keen and that when floods happen, the public should seek for higher and elevated places.
Meanwhile, City Disaster Risk and Reduction Management Office spokesperson Vergil Lago reminded residents from barangays Cugman, Tablon, Macasandig, Canitoan and Carmen to be alert on the possibility of floodings and landslide when it rains.
Lago also said that those who will be affected by the calamity should take refuge in their respective barangays for aid.
