In a Bombo Radyo CDeO news article published last Monday April 24, 2017, a security guard would be facing a murder case after he shot his co-worker in Tibasak, Macasandig, Cagayan de Oro City.

PO3 Rey Bustamante, police investigator in Macasandig Police Station identified the victim as Mansueto Gaymaron, 57 years old and a resident at Purok 3, Barangay Gusa, CDeO.

The prosecutor charged the suspect, Marvin Maculintas from Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City.

The victim was shot in the head with a caliber .38 which caused his death.

According to the police, Maculintas admitted that he killed Gaymaron because of his hatred. The victim often insults the suspect that he lacks training while he works under the Rover Eagle Security.

First, the suspect stated that the victim died due to cardiac arrest but the police officers did not believe him.

He finally admitted that he was responsible for the death of Gaymaron by shooting him in the head.
