23 May 3 cops and a city hall worker lauded for arrest of 2 robbery suspects in CdeO

Three police personnel and a city hall worker were given recognition for the arrest of two robbery suspects during the flag raising rites last May 22, 2017, at the Cagayan de Oro City Hall.
In an article from SunStar.com, Police Superintendent Dexter Paje, Police Officer (PO3) Adolfo Nietes Jr, PO1 Ian Roderick Paug and the Supervisor of Security Civil Unit Noel Naybe of the city hall received the commendation.
Last April 2, the three law enforcers arrested a certain Ranilo Madronero who was responsible for a robbery incident inside a running jeepney while pointing a knife to one of the passengers at Gaerlan-Tiano streets.
Authorities were able to recover a mobile phone worth P54,000 from Madronero from which he will be facing robbery charges with a bail of P100,000.
On the other hand, Naybe was able to catch Jay-ar Sieran for snatching a necklace from a jeepney commuter at Rizal-Gaerlan streets. The incident also allowed authorities to find a nine-inch knife in Sieran’s possession.
This is the second time that awards were given during the flag raising ceremony of the city hall in honor of the bravery of anyone in the fight against criminality.
