04 Dec DOLE Reminder: Early 13th Month Pay Distribution

The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) reminds employers regarding the early distribution of 13th-month pay to employees.
All these payments should be given before December 24 every year, according to DOLE-Cordillera Director Exequiel Ronie Guzman.
He stated that if an employer fails to deliver this privilege, employees have the right to file a formal complaint to DOLE.
Various DOLE offices nationwide are open to these and other complaints regarding irresponsible employers. And they will perform any action necessary if they receive such complaints.
Furthermore, Guzman also added that if an employer refuses to provide a 13th-month payment, he/she can be sued in court.
