12 Dec DepEd Conducts Brigada Eskwela In Marawi

In an article posted by pia.gov.ph, education shareholders will conduct the Brigada Eskwela sa Marawi (BESM) program on December 13-15, 2017.
The activity aims to make the schools be resilient and conducive to learning. This will be headed by various Department of Education (DepEd) officials.
The BESM Activity will start on December 13 at Amai Pakpak Central Elementary School (APECS) in Barangay Buadi Sacayo Green, Marawi City.
According to the Coordinator of DepEd Disaster Risk Reduction and Management (DRRM)- Region 10 Eusebio Aguanta, Brigada Eskwela brings light to the city since it consists various activities that will bring out the spirit of the community. The DRRM will help in repairing and painting the school furniture and facilities to provide a better education for learners.
In addition, Aguanta urges the Regional DRRM Council-NorthMin members to participate and support the maintenance of the 41 schools affected by war.
