Phoenix Petroleum Shares Gifts To Children In Selected Schools

As part of their Christmas celebration, the Phoenix Petroleum through the Phoenix Philippines Foundation gave Christmas gifts and educational materials to 4,000 children in selected schools around the country.

According to Sunstar PH, this year, 32 elementary and kindergarten schools received story, reference, and instructional books. There were also selected schools who received smart television units, chairs, computers and fans.

In addition, each student received bags, school supplies, toys, and snacks.

According to the Vice President for External Affairs of Phoenix: Raymond Zorrilla, Christmas is an important season for children and they aim to bring them smiles and to help them learn.

The selected schools are from the provinces of Misamis Oriental, General Santos, Zamboanga City, South Cotabato, Davao City, Cebu, Mandaue City, Iloilo, Aklan, Olongapo, Calapan, Pasay City and Batangas.

In partnership with the Department of Education, Phoenix Philippines Foundation has been conducting adopt-a-school programs since 2008. They also have health, safety, environmental and various outreach programs.
