30 May Rural Transit Buses Receive Suspension Order Due To Recent Accidents in Bukidnon
Mga higala! Rural Transit Mindanao Incorporated or RTMI has received a 30-day suspension order from the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board or LTFRB-10.
According to Bombo Radyo, the suspension was implemented by LTFRB due to the recent incidents involving RTMI buses, especially because of last week’s accident, where 3 passengers died and 28 were injured in Brgy. Patpat, Malaybalay, Bukidnon.
As of now, Rural Transit is doing their best to conduct preventive measures and strict reminders, so that their drivers can avoid possible accidents in the future.
Furthermore, LTFRB Regional Director Allan Guro clarified that only 4 buses who are traveling from Cagayan de Oro to Valencia City were included in the 30-day suspension.
