24 May Dry Run Of “No Segregation, No Collection” Policy To Be Conducted This June In Cagayan de Oro Barangays
Mga higala! A dry run of the “NO SEGREGATION, NO COLLECTION” policy will be conducted in Barangay 1 to 40 of Cagayan de Oro City, this June 1-30, 2019.
Garbage collectors will no longer take mixed non-biodegradable and biodegradable waste that is not properly segregated.
This dry run will be performed so that the said policy can soon be implemented in accordance with Article IV, Section 6, 7 and Article VI, section 17 of City Ordinance #13378-2018, which states that each residence or establishment in CDO should have their own garbage receptacles for the proper disposal of biodegradable, non-biodegradable, and recyclable waste.
Biodegradable waste will be collected from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm, while non-biodegradable ones will be collected starting at 6:00 pm up to 12 midnight.
