Did you know that the Rainbow Eucalyptus tree, which also goes by the scientific name Eucalyptus deglupta, has a multi-colored bark – and that it can be found in the Philippines?

The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree is known locally as bagras, and is often found in the rainforests of Mindanao. It’s also native to Indonesia and Papua New Guinea, and cultivated in certain North American areas, like the US (particularly in California and Florida). Surprisingly, the Rainbow Eucalyptus trees are not native to Australia – it’s one of the four eucalyptus plants that don’t naturally appear on the continent.
