KAPA Officials Get Another Arrest Order from CDO Court for Syndicated Estafa

In a statement released on Monday, March 24, 2020, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) said that the Cagayan de Oro City Regional Trial Court recently issued a warrant of arrest against Kapa-Community Ministry International Founder/President Joel Apolinario, including eight other individuals, for syndicated estafa.

The other people who were connected to KAPA were named Albert Buhangbuhang, Cristobal Barabad, Joji Jusay, Jouelyn del Castillo, Junnie Apolinario, Maria Pella Sevilla, Nelia Nino, and Nonita Urbano.

Earlier, the Department of Justice (DOJ) accused KAPA of the distribution or sale of securities in the Philippines without having a filed registration statement with and that is approved by the SEC.

The said case is non-bailable.
