NMMC Specialist Reminds Public To Avoid 3Cs About COVID-19 As Businesses Slowly Reopen

Now that businesses are starting to reopen their physical locations, Northern Mindanao Medical Center (NMMC) Medical Specialist II– Dr. Bernard Julius Rocha, warned the public to continue observing the minimum health standards in order to avoid getting infected by the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).

Aside from cough etiquette, proper hand hygiene, social distancing, staying at home, and wearing face masks in public places, it is important to avoid the following 3Cs.

1. Closed places with poor ventilation. This includes bars, churches, movie houses, etc.

2. Crowded places with groups of people nearby. This included malls, markets, etc.

3. Close contact setting. In other words, one-on-one conversation in close range.
