DILG Bans Travel Of LSIs To & From Cebu City Due To Increase Of COVID-19 Cases

Mga higala! The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) of Region VII has temporarily banned the travel of locally stranded individuals (LSI) to and from Cebu City, due to the recent increase of COVID-19 cases!

“Per instruction received by the undersigned from (DILG) Secretary Eduardo Año, the movement of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) coming from or going to Cebu City, which is under enhanced community quarantine, will not be allowed temporarily.”

This was stated in an advisory released by DILG-7 on Friday, June 19, signed by Regional Director Leocadio Trovela.

ICYDK, a number of LSIs from Cebu who recently arrived in Cagayan de Oro have tested positive for the coronavirus disease!
