Mga higala! There’s good news for our senior citizens!

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) and the local city government have scheduled their social pension payout and its distribution has already begun yesterday, July 8, 2020.

Of the total 8,937 senior citizen beneficiaries, 6,937 of them are under DSWD while the remaining 2,000 are under LGU-CDO.

In order for our senior citizens to be safe from the risks of getting infected from the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), public health standards will be implemented such as limiting the number of people who will get the pension within the premises of the barangay court, appointing additional personnel for assistance, and scheduling.

For those beneficiaries who are disabled or endured illness, their social pension will be sent to their respective homes.
