- an extension of CDO’s 372nd case
- isolated upon identification as close contact
- swabbed in a private testing facility
- results came back positive on September 13
- 6 workplace contacts identified
478th. 85-year-old male, local case, resident of Brgy. Lapasan
- had a fever, body malaise, and experienced shortness of breath
- admitted at a private hospital, swabbed
- results came back positive on September 14
- 15 close contacts identified and isolated
- for transfer to the NMMC
479th. 52-year-old male, local case, resident of a subdivision in Brgy. Carmen
- experienced throat discomfort, admitted last September 11 in a private hospital
- had fever
- swab tested as a prerequisite for elective surgery
- results came back positive on September 14
- 3 direct household contacts identified and isolated
- further contact tracing ongoing
- for transfer to the temporary treatment and monitoring facility (TTMF)
480th. 66-year-old male, local case, resident of Brgy. Lapasan
- had on and off fever and cough
- experienced epigastric pain and difficulty of breathing
- admitted at the JRBGH last September 12, swabbed
- results came back positive on September 14
- for transfer to the NMMC
- close contacts identified and isolated
481st. 83-year-old male, local case, resident of Brgy. Pagatpat
- had a cough starting last September 6
- admitted at JRBGH on September 11 due to generalized weakness and loss of appetite
- diagnosed with chronic kidney disease secondary to hypertensive nephropathy, related to community-acquired pneumonia (high-risk)
- transferred to the NMMC, swabbed: positive
- expired on the early morning of September 14
- cremated at around 11:00 am
- contact tracing ongoing
482nd. 94-year-old female, local case, resident of Brgy. 35
- had a fever and cough
- admitted at the NMMC, swabbed
- results came back positive on September 14
- lives near a current containment area
483rd. 36-year-old female, local/APOR, resident of Brgy.
- a healthcare worker at the NMMC
- experienced symptoms, swab tested
- results came back positive on September 14
- now in a city isolation unit
