26 Jan President Duterte Recalls Order Allowing Kids 10-14 Years Old To Go Out In MGCQ Areas
Mga higala! President Rodrigo Duterte has recalled the order from the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) that allows persons 10-14 years old to go out of their homes, in areas under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ)!
This relaxation of age-based restrictions was announced last week by Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque.
In a public address aired yesterday, January 25, 2021, President Duterte said that:
“Yung restrictions na lifting the age of 10 to 14 age group sa MGCQ areas na palabasin na yung mga 10 to 14, I am compelled.
It has nothing to do with their incompetence, not at all. Ang akin is a precaution because there is or there was or is a strain discovered in the Cordillera that is very similar to the strain dito sa United Kingdom. Balik ho kayo sa bahay muna. And besides, yung 10 years old to 14 itong medyo matanda na, mahirap itong i-manage, but itong 10, 11, 12 pwede na yan sila sa TV. They can glue their attention sa TV the whole day.
Pasensya na po kayo. Mine is just a precaution. Takot lang ako kasi itong bagong strain strikes the young children.”
