28 Jan The Pigeon Hole is Now on Soft Opening and It’s a Weekend Getaway not Just for the Pigeons
Kagay-anons have a penchant in getting away to weekend places to unwind, and this is good news for them just in case they missed the soft opening of The Pigeon Hole in Alae, Manolo Fortich.
The Pigeon Hole just staged their “soft” opening last January 23, 2016, wherein invited guests and ticket holders for their grand buffet were treated to sumptuous food, a live band, the great decorations, and the natural surroundings.
This latest weekend getaway is just a 45-minute drive from the city center and was actually around since 2013 when the Sarraga family who owns the property made it into their private shooting range for “clay pigeon” trap shooting.
This is where the name of the place is derived although the bright orange clay discs that are shot at with shotguns were hardly literal pigeons.
The place isn’t really hard to find so long as you follow the billboard sign on the right side of the Mambatangan, Alae, Manolo Fortich waiting shed.
The place already has a well set-up casual restaurant and some of the spacious surroundings has tables and chairs for fair-weather eating-out. For now The Pigeon Hole is only open on Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will only cater to guests with reservations.
