Parents & Guardians Can Register Their Babies For PH National ID

Mga higala! All Filipino residents can register for the PH National ID, even infants or babies, according to the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)!

“Yes, even babies can register for the national ID.”

This aims to ensure that “they [your children] will not have a hard time getting an ID when they grow up.”

However, parents and guardians are not allowed to bring their kids who are within the age of 0-4 years old to registration centers. They can just bring their child’s birth certificate.

They can then register them, follow the set process, and comply with the requirements.

ICYDK, the entire procedure of getting a national ID is free of charge.

(Note: Only Filipino residents who are 5-years-old and above can acquire a physical National ID.)
