31 Mar DOLE Releases Holiday Pay Rules For Holy Week 2023 (April 6-10)
Mga higala! The Department of Labor & Employment (DOLE) has released an advisory regarding the set pay rules for the upcoming Regular Holidays (and others) this Holy Week 2023!
Regular Holidays (April 6, 7, & 10)
- Employees who will not work on these days will get 100% of their wage = Basic wage x 100%
- Those will work will be able to get 200% of their wage = Basic wage x 200%
- For overtime = Hourly rate x 200% x 130% x number of overtime hours
Special (Non-Working) Day (April 8)
- Employees who will work on this day will get an additional 30% of their wage = Basic wage x 130%
- No work, no pay
- Overtime = Hourly rate x 130% x 130% x number of overtime hours
Ordinary Working Day (April 9)
