10 May Incumbent Mayor Oscar Moreno To Hold 2nd Term as City’s Mayor?
As of 10:00 AM of May 10, 2016, below are the partial and unofficial results representing 99.33% of the Region X, Misamis Oriental, Cagayan de Oro City Election Returns.
Incumbent Mayor Oscar Moreno of the Liberal Party is unofficially on its way for his 2nd term as Cagayan de Oro’s Mayor with 96,215 votes leaving behind Dongkoy Emano who garnered 80,186 votes, Rufus Rodriguez with 61,454 votes, Felix Borres Jr with 340 votes, Ric Saarenas with 297 votes and Romer Cabildo with 141 votes. Moreno’s running mate and also the incumbent Vice Mayor of the city, Rainier Joaquin Uy, leads with 92,545 votes compared to Ian Acenas’ 83,754 votes and Roger Abaday’s 41,967 votes. (See photo below)
For the position of House of Representatives in the 1st District, Rolando Up of the Liberal Party garnered 56,398 votes compared to Independent candidate Candy Darimbang’s 50,776 votes. (See photo below)
For the 2nd District’s House of Representatives, Independent candidate Maxie Rodriguez leads with 46,363 votes. 12,240 votes higher than Ramon Tabor’s accumulated votes. (See photo below)
For the 1st District’s City Council, the leading first ten candidates are Zaldy Ocon (LP), Lordan Suan (UNA), Inday Dahino (UNA), Jay Pascual (LP), Gen Calizo (LP), George Goking (LP), Annie Daba (UNA), Reuben Daba (LP), Maximo Allorin (LP) and Marlyn Lagumen (LP). (See photo below)
